Girls' Uniform
SKIRT OR SKIRT/SHORTS
Girls have TWO choices: A-line skirt or skirt/shorts (see pattern). Both must have a waistband, pleats (1 3/4" pleat each side at front center and back center), pockets, and reach the middle of the knee or lower.)
Extra material, and extra care in the cutting of the material, is needed to match the stripes of the Marino Plaid. Also, please notice that the patterns for the skirt/shorts will take approximately 1/4 meter more material that the A-line skirt.
IMPORTANT: Include a small hidden pocket with a zipper inside the regular pocket. The girls need a safe place to keep money and/or valuables.
WHITE BLOUSE
- Short, capped sleeves
- Front button placket
- Regular shirt collar
- Front darts (see drawing)
- Back darts (see drawing)
- Blouse should be loose fitting
- Navy blue ties.
IMPORTANT: The blouse should be long enough so that it can remain tucked in.
SHOES
The shoes should be WHITE TENNIS SHOES with WHITE SOCKS. Shoes may have some dark-coloured markings but MINIMAL.
Material for Girl's Skirt
The material used for the skirts is called MARINO PLAID #0788. It can be purchased at either of the Parisina stores in Chetumal, Mexico.
Boys' Uniform
PANTS
MATERIAL: Navy Blue
Pants must be strictly the material provided as an example by the school. Any student with a different colour or material will be sent home and will be asked not to return until he has the proper pants material. Pants must be worn at the WAIST with a BLACK LEATHER BELT.
WHITE SHIRT
- Short sleeves
- Front button
- Regular shirt collar
- Two pockets with ¼ inch navy border across the top of the pockets.
IMPORTANT: The shirt should be long enough so that it can remain tucked in. Failure to have a shirt of sufficient length will result in your child being sent home until his shirt length is appropriate.
NOTE: When buying material for the uniform shirt, please take into account that young men grow rapidly at this age and need sufficient room for growth.
EPAULETTES
Navy blue shoulder epaulettes
Epaulettes MUST be SOWN on the uniform shirt. No buttons, pins, snaps, or clasps.
SHOES
The shoes should be WHITE TENNIS SHOES with WHITE SOCKS. Shoes may have some dark-coloured markings but MINIMAL.
P.E. Uniform
Form 1 and 2 require a Cornerstone T-shirt and shorts for Physical Education.
